Galvanised Steel
To improve steels resistance to corrosion, the steel is submerged in a bath of molten Zinc and emerges with a layer of zinc on all surfaces (internal and external).
This layer of zinc when exposed to weather oxides, changes to a dull grey colour and helps prevent corrosion.
Galvanised steel is available in a variety of forms and is used everywhere from gates and fences to steel frames used to build houses.
For projects which may be exposed to water, galvanised steel is an essential fabrication component.
